MBA Agribusiness (2 Year full time program) with specializations in eleven high potential industry sectors, namely – dairy, poultry, animal health, irrigation & farm machinery, agri-inputs, commodities, horticulture, and food processing etc.

The admission to the programs is done through a selection procedure comprising of a written test followed by group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who have taken any of the following tests - CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or the IARM Entrance Test - can share their scores and proceed directly to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round.

Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture and allied sciences from a recognized University. Students who have achieved at least 55% marks or an OGPA above 6.5 in their graduation are directly eligible for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round.

IARM has made arrangements and facilitates for lodging, boarding and transports facilities to 100% students at actual costs direct to the services providers. However, students are free to opt out and make their own arrangements.

Yes. Hostel facility for girls is separate.

IARM is affiliated with an approved university that qualifies for bank education loan. The institute to access education loan from the banks facilitates all possible help by way of documentation. However it is the entire responsibility of individual students to arrange through nearest bank located in the vicinity of permanent home address.

IARM provides scholarship to deserving students based on merit cum means. 10% of the total strength of students will be qualified to avail the facility, which is 50% off on the academic fee.

The social sector scholarships for students belonging to weaker sections, SC/ST, OBC, and minority communities can be accessed from the State Governments as per the norms. Students who are not availing of government scholarships can apply for scholarships from IARM.

IARM closely works with the industry. Its Board is comprised of top agribusiness industry CEOs, who patronize the institute. The institute arranges regular visits to various factories, company headquarters and invites senior industry executives to interact with students. IARM can boast of the largest number of industry guest visitors in a single year than any agribusiness institute in the country.

Agribusiness Management is an emerging sector and there is a rising demand for Agribusiness professionals, estimated at 25000 plus annually, against the availability of approx. 5000. IARM aims at arranging 50 top corporates for 100% offers to its students.

IARM is offering appointment letter @ Rs. 25,000 to all the students on the day of admission. This offer is due to the fact that ICFA has the industry assurance for 100% placement, which will be much higher salary levels. Basic offer is as guarantee, and actual jobs offered by corporate will be at much higher level.

IARM has a sanctioned strength of 120 seats.

The institute is promoted by ICFA, which is apex institutions in food and agriculture at the national level, which organizes large number of CEOs round table meets, industry interactions, national and international seminars and lectures, agro expositions, where all students are welcome to join. In addition, the students may also participate in the conferences hosted by its partner institutions.

A laptop is compulsory for all students at IARM. The institute will provide laptops free of cost to 100% of the batch, and high-speed Internet will also be provided at no charge.

There is no extra concession either in the written or interview for more qualified or experienced persons. All admissions will be strictly on merit basis. There is no reservation or concession based on caste, creed, religion also.

The classes will commence in the first week of September 2024.

No, only regular courses are available. IARM however plans to start distance learning course in future, subject to approval by the University and the Directorate of Distance Learning.
